Bruce Lucier, the Owner of Marquee PhotoWorks has been a professional photographer for over 20 years. A graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Bruce studied under Nicholas Nixon and Abe Morel. In 2007 Bruce purchased Stow Photo, moved it to Maynard center, and Marquee PhotoWorks opened it’s doors.

Bruce’s technical knowledge of photographic materials, processes and artistic ability, coupled with mastery of lighting techniques results in dynamic images. During portrait sessions, Bruce is able to direct his subjects to relax and to let their real selves shine through.

Being a father of two, Bruce understands and enjoys working with children, and knows all the good distractor-factors to get great pictures of those beautiful faces.

Bruce’s work has been published in various magazines and trade journals such as PC Week, PC World, Byte Magazine and Multi Media Magazine. His commercial work has ranged from working with professional models to projects for NASA. His partial client list includes: Houghton Mifflin Interactive, Harvard University School of Medicine and Arthur D. Little

In tandem with his commercial work, Bruce has been working on several bodies of fine art, which he has exhibited in Boston and through out eastern Massachusetts.

He has taught photography at the Danforth Museum of Art School in Framingham and the Boston Architectural Center in Boston.
